    A very popular hangout for locals and tourists alike. On a hot day it's packed and their portions are generous. The gelato itself is ok but nothing to write home about. Maybe I am spoilt for choice in Munich and perhaps comparing it to places near my house is not fair ;-))

    They have quite a selection of flavours but missing the standard pistachio and hazelnut flavours which is commonplace in most gelateria's around the country. I had the quark cherry and it was nice but a bit too sweet for me. The chocolate gelato was also a bit too sweet and did not have the intense chocolate flavour I am used to.

    I would come here again. It's a beautiful gelateria located in a beautiful old building next to the river. There is plenty of outdoor seating and service is very good and prices are reasonable.
